We had a ton of fun. The girls were so cute this year. It was all magical for Alanna, even though I think she asks too many questions for a 5 year old. We had to start getting creative. I kept trying to change the subject so I wouldn't have to answer too many things and then worry if Duston and I had the same story.
My dad made Alanna a really cute pink oven. Pink is her favorite color. Her big gift this year was a doll house. Even though she has been playing more with the moon sand and the oven and new dishes (given to her by her other grandparents).
Ava loves her new little bike thingy and is so cute when she tries to climb the stairs in Lana's barbie house or squeeze herself into the kitchen.
Duston and I got ourselves an XBox and Guitar Hero after having so much fun playing at the Graber's house. We are going to practice a lot and try to get better. Duston teases me about being his "rocker wife". Ha Ha Ha! I like it...what can I say?
Anyway...we felt humbled and blessed to have such a wonderful Christmas in the face of a lot of hardship all around. We made sure to thank Heavenly Father for all our abundance.
Check out the Christmas Slideshow!
God Bless!

Sledding!
Duston took Alanna and her cousin Brooklyn sledding last Saturday. They had fun even though Alanna is not our adventurous one. Still... I thought it was cute. Too bad I couldn't really go.
We went a lot when we were younger. For our ward parties, we went tubing at the Mtn. Dell golf course up Parley's Canyon. That was when the church didn't have to worry so much about being sued or anything. Now, they don't let you do things like that for ward activities.
Anyway... we would have so much fun. We put a lot of people on 1 huge tube, they went cruising down the mountain. We finished it all off with hot chocolate and donuts. It was great, even though I am allergic to the cold so I couldn't do as much as the other kids. I had to take breaks between the fun to warm up before I went out again.
Now...doctors orders. No sledding. At least I can still watch my kids though, right?
Well, here are some pics and a video clip of Alanna & Brooklyn

Wardrop Christmas Party!
On Friday night we had our annual Wardrop Christmas Party. It was a crazy day with the snow and all. Duston left his studio at 3:30 and made one short stop on the way home, and he didn't get home until 6:00. He was a little mad to say the least. Our party started at 6:30 so we immediately jumped back in the car and headed to South Jordan. He was really stressed out by the time we got there which was a little after 7:00. Everybody was late though, so I didn't feel dumb. One whole part of our family couldn't make it since they all live in Heber, so I hope if they get the chance to see this blog, they will feel better about having to miss the party. (We missed you!)
Anyway..we ate great food and had a little talent show. My sweet grandma Betty who is 83 loves to see all the talent of her posterity. She is so cute, I just adore her.

So here are some clips of the talent show. It takes too long to post them all so I am just putting one of my brother, James. Since I'm not the photographer in the family, I still don't know how to use my camera just yet, so the clips are sideways. Just tilt your head! HA HA!
You can check out James' my space page for more info about him. http://www.myspace.com/jcameronmusic

Marty, an inspiration...
Okay...so I guess I just sort of journal entry with this blog thing.
Yesterday I went to lunch with my friend Marty. She is amazing. She has Takayasus Syndrome like me. We are two people out of statistics like 1 in 2 million that have this disease. My disease is in remission luckily enough. But Marty is still working toward hers. She is amazing though. You wouldn't believe what she and her family have gone through. I know how hard it can be with health problems, and I complain as sometimes I just can't help it. She on the other hand is so positive all the time. She just recently had a baby. He is almost 6 months old and he is soooo cute. But I have to tell you that she risked her life (very literally) to bring this angel to this world. I admire her strength even though I was very worried about her. Anyway, I just want to tell Marty thank you for being a strength in my life and really understanding as nobody else can about all the worries and thoughts that go through my head about health crap! You are an inspiration!
